HIRAETH — Spring | 16–19 April 2027 – Three Night Retreat
Hiraeth — Spring
16–19 April 2027 · Combe Head House, South Somerset
After the quiet of winter, the year begins to open.
Three nights at Combe Head House in the softening days of spring, when the woodland is bright with new leaves, the trees are full of birdsong and the gardens begin their slow return to colour.
A retreat for reading, journalling and deep nourishment: mornings spent in the hall of the Tudor manor house, afternoons wandering beneath the trees, writing in the pages of a journal or sitting quietly beside the spring-fed pond.
Swim in the cold water, warm slowly in the sauna, listen to a restorative sound bath and gather around the table for long, generous meals. As evening falls, there will be fires, candlelight and a feast in the beautiful barn.
The spring equinox has passed, but its invitation remains: to begin again, to make space, to notice what is coming into being.
Three nights to read, reflect and reconnect with the landscape — and perhaps with parts of yourself that have been waiting quietly for spring. No hectic timetable of events. Plenty of space to just be.
Books. Journals. Trees. Cold water. Warm fires. Time.
