HIRAETH — Autumn | 15–18 October 2027 – Three Night Retreat
Hiraeth — Autumn
15–18 October 2027 · Combe Head House, South Somerset
As the year turns inward, retreat to Combe Head House for three nights of books, journals, woodland and quiet.
The trees will be beginning to turn, the evenings drawing in, and the houses made for candlelight, fires and long hours with a good book.
Read in the Tudor hall of the manor house. Walk through the autumn woodland beneath ancient trees. Find a quiet place to write. Swim in the cold spring-fed pond, then retreat to the warmth of the sauna. Listen to a restorative sound bath beneath the darkening sky.
There will be long breakfasts, seasonal food, time with the animals and an evening feast in the converted barn.
A few weeks beyond the autumn equinox, the landscape reminds us of another kind of rhythm: gathering in, letting go, becoming still.
And when the moon rises over the trees, there will be nowhere else to be.
No hectic schedule of events. Plenty of time to be.
Books. Journals. Moonlight. Cold water. Firelight. Time.
